Progressive Panjabi writers circle
Progressive Panjabi Writers Circle is like a family in the foundation of Literary, cultural and linguistic aspects of Asian community. It is bound together by a strong sense of promoting asian culture, literary reputation of asian arts and linguistic responsibility towards the progress of the multicultural society. Although most of the writers are working in the different fields to earn their livelihood but their commitment to promote the literature and take the society forward to the progressive path of the society.
Progressive Panjabi Writers’s circle intends to hold Seminars from time to time on different social, economic and psychological issues of the present society living in Britain. This will involve local, national and international writers from all parts of the world to share their ideas and work together for the promotion of humankind.
This circle will also celebrate different festivals by holding poetic symposiums and writers will be encouraged to write about current social and global issues of the society. Literary musical evening will also be organized from time to time to promote Indian music in multicultural society.
Panjabi Literature of progressive nature will be translated into English to reach to the wider readers of this global world. Books beneficial for the society will be translated and published for the development of literary aspect of panjabi literature. Our main aims are that Panjabi Culture, Panjabi literature and Panjabi language to meet the mainstream global values of democracy, peace and harmony.
Workshops will be organized on ‘how to write poetry or a short story?’ Children will be involved in these workshops to transfer abilities from one generation to another generation.
