Connexions Careers Management Futures - WolverhamptonService OfferedInformation and guidance on careers, employment and training opportunities for young people aged 13-19. Target GroupYoung people aged 13-19. Asian Health Agency - Elders Access ProjectService OfferedAssists Asian elders to access services, such as day care, community, religious and social activities. Provides and co-ordinates transport to enable Asian elders to attend activities and services of their choice. Advice, information and advocacy services to assist elders in accessing services. Service provided seven days a week 10am - 6pm. Target GroupAsian elders. Advocacy and Interpreting Services UnitService OfferedAdvocacy and interpreting services for non-English speaking patients using primary community and acute health care services in the City of Wolverhampton. Target GroupNon-English speaking patients using health care services. Service OfferedCentre for North Asian women and children. Advice and information on welfare rights, benefits, housing, harassment and physical/sexual abuse. Signposting to other services, range of group activities, classes and courses designed to develop confidence and independence. Some translation and interpreting. Outings and cultural events.
